About Us

Started by Stephen and Caroline Lonon, Osage Fly Fishing came out of a dream to get more people on the water, with a fly fishing rod in hand. Through education, outfitting, and adventure planning, we cannot wait to help you explore the fly fishing destinations of Arkansas and beyond.

When Stephen began fly fishing, he didn’t know anyone who fly fished. As he tried to learn through trial and error, it wasn’t until he visited a fly shop and received the education he needed that he realized just how simple fly fishing can be. This led to a passion that not only continues to get people on fish, but expands peoples’ perception of fly fishing.

The Lonons are passionate about making fly fishing accessible to all people because they have seen the impact that it has had on their own lives and on their clients.

Stephen Lonon

Co-Founder and Lead Instructor
Stephen is an Army Veteran who holds a BS in Business Administration. He is a Northwest Arkansas fly-fishing guide and an outdoors conservationist. His true passion is introducing people to their local waters and equipping them to enjoy the outdoors for their lifetime.
His favorite fish is the Longear Sunfish.
Caroline Lonon

Co-Founder and Business Manager
Caroline comes from a business background as well as holding a graduate seminary degree. Caroline manages the business side of Osage Fly Fishing and can’t wait to help get you on the water! She works in church strategy and marketing communications consulting, for both non-profit and for-profit businesses.
Her favorite fish is the Rainbow Darter.
